Similar to a prom ball, Studniówka is a ball that takes place one hundred days before the Matura secondary school exit exam and is usually held in January. For secondary school students it's often their first step into adulthood and an important social occasion, which involves sporting an elegant look and enjoying a beautifully decorated venue.
